At the end of SINFUL FOLK, our hero Miriam/Mear is recognized as a noblewoman and is ensconced in an estate reserved for her. The book ends in 1377, with her traveling to London and connecting with her mother's heritage. A few short years later though, the Peasant's Revolt erupts across England.
Now Mear is on the other side of the fence from the peasants and those revolting against nobility. In fact, her estate is under threat. What will she do to ensure her survival as a noblewoman? Will her knowledge of peasant life come to the forefront?
How will she continue to work with her adopted son Cole to craft a life together? ....And how did Salvius get out of prison?
